Sound Design & Engineering
Across a variety of venues including Universal Orlando Resort, the Visalia Convention Center, the Visalia Ice House Theater, Encore Theater Tulare and several others, I have designed and engineered sound for everything from full-length Broadway-style shows to stunt shows, and music/variety productions.
My approach is always rooted in supporting the director’s vision while adding my own style to immerse the audience. Whether it’s reinforcing storytelling with subtle atmospheric cues or creating fully realized, dramatic audio environments, my goal is to make sound an integral part of the audience experience. I draw inspiration from Spielberg films and classic Broadway shows, focusing on detail, texture, and iconic sonic moments that stay with audiences long after the curtain closes.
I’ve worked with Behringer, Allen & Heath, and Yamaha digital and analog mixers, QSC speakers, Shure wireless microphones, and QLab. These tools allow me to blend live performance, music, and effects seamlessly, while maintaining clarity and balance for the audience.
One of my most challenging and rewarding projects was The Woman in Black (Encore Theater Tulare), where I created tense, immersive environments entirely through sound. From subtle effects to full dream sequences, the sound design heightened the suspense and completely enveloped the audience in the story. Across all projects, I focus on producing clean, well-mixed audio, blending cast vocals, and building original effects that elevate the production.
I take pride in creating immersive audio worlds that captivate audiences. Collaborators consistently respond positively to my work, often returning for future projects, and I’m always learning, adapting, and improving my craft to meet the unique challenges of every venue and production.
