Props & Set Pieces

I create functional, visually striking props and set pieces for theater, film, cosplay, and special events. From immersive theatrical builds to one-of-a-kind replicas, my work emphasizes practicality, style, and storytelling.

Each project starts with a clear vision and a can-do approach, working step-by-step within the constraints of time, budget, and materials. I draw inspiration from theater, television, film, and the world around me—whether urban environments, nature, or even my pets—to achieve designs that are both imaginative and functional. My style adapts to the project, from mid-century modern to rustic or whimsical, always aiming for efficiency, ease of use, and maximum impact.

Many of my builds are interactive, movable, or transformable within a performance, allowing them to serve multiple purposes on stage. For example, the proton pack was constructed entirely from everyday materials yet closely resembled the original film design. The Fantasticks tree was built on a folding scaffolding to support a performer while maintaining a natural, organic aesthetic. In The 39 Steps, a hidden bed allowed rapid scene changes, and The Producers featured moving marquees to bring energy and motion to the stage.

I take pride in polished, professional results that captivate audiences and satisfy collaborators. Across all projects, I’ve learned to never say no, to keep pushing the art forward, and to trust the process. With more time and resources, there’s always room to elevate the work even further.

Constraints of time, money, and resources have pushed me to innovate and problem-solve creatively.
